Hello! My Name is Ben Koditschek (pronounced "code-itch-eck"). I am a designer and artist currently attending The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Thank you for taking a look at kodisign.com (pronounced "code-is-zine" ) - my portfolio on the World Wide Web.

You might be wondering what disign is. Well, it's true, I can't spell very well, but the ' i ' was intentional: kodisign happens to be a perfect fusion between the first four letters of my name and the last four letters of my vocation. And kodesign.com was already taken.

Another important word has given me trouble: During my junior year of high-school in Philadelphia, soon after I began fancying myself a designer, I was shopping at my local grocery store, and somehow ended up in conversation with a fellow who ran a small ice cream business. He pointed me to the freezer cases where a few of his pints were for sale. I remember that one of the flavors was called Chilly Philly Vanilly. The design on the pints was sub-par, and so, thinking that I would play the part of the young entrepreneur, and offer him my services. I did not have a business card at that point so I wrote my information on a scrap of paper:
